Windsurfing: The Fludgers-Felixstowe Wind Direction: ESE Wind Stength: 2/3 Surf / Sea State: abit surfy Air Temperature: 5 Sea Temperature: 9 Weather: sunny Max Speed: 16.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 11.4 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
It was too nice a day not to have a spin on the longboard with 8.5 which
was under powered and the 9.4 would have been better.Because of the onshore
wind and rolling swell and the cold condtions I decided on the smaller
sail. The Fludges is a crap place to sail at low water with alot of rocks to
launch through !!!!
I had a reach to the R.Orwell mouth then a beat to the ferry sandbank,a
really nice 1hr 40mins.
I would like to dedicate the day sailing in the sunshine to my step mother
in law,the lovelly Pam,who has just been diagnosed with liver cancer.
Added mon 18th Feb-sadly Pam passed away at 1 o clock this morning-she will
be missed by all those who had the pleasure to met her xxxxxxxxxxxx
